Cuff Cakes Sweet Treats for Your Feet, are the launch accessory of fashion accessory line M. belishe by Anokah. Designer Anokah, known for embellishing absolutely any and everything she comes in contact with, found it an obvious fit that she name her launch line M. belishe (with a funky spelling of course). As she was literally stopped in the street every single time her bedazzled rainboot cuffs were worn (created out of her old rainboot socks), she figured, "this is it- Its time to share my love of embellishing with the world."
Cuff Cakes are literally just that, Sweet Treats for Your Feet. It adds a little something special and unique to a necessary item that almost everyone owns and sometimes dread wearing. Why not turn a rainy day into something fun, unique and memorable. Learning from friends, family and local customers that her designer rainboot cuffs made them excited about rainy weather and just rainboots in general, not only made her smile it confirmed continuing her passion for embellishing.
From aiding in overall fit, keeping rain out of your boot, to semi customizing your sometimes frumpy and unattractive rainboots, this patent pending design Cuff Cakes, are quickly turning into the new must have for the rain, so just like we keep saying: "... you obviously shouldn't be caught in the rain without 'em."

Anokah Maynard was born in NYC and raised on the gorgeous Jersey Shore (stop laughing- it is gorgeous). She always yearned to be a part of the fast paced, eclectic, and culturally diverse environment that New York City embodied. From this desire, she always found a way to make herself different by way of clothing and of course, her favorite: accessorizing.
Whether it was adding colored buttons and a hand stitched embroideries to her Catholic School uniform knee highs (which she was threatened to be sent to detention for- but that's another story), or wearing a neon green coordinating outfit to a conservative Villanova religion course in which everyone's wardrobe consisted of pearls, skirts and a polo shirt, she always tried to set herself apart from the crowd.
After College, she attended an accelerated Graduate Fashion Design program at Parsons The New School where she knew fashion and design is where she was meant to be. After school, she worked for a large design company gaining experience in Women's, Children's and Menswear Design.
Constantly gaining recognition as the "Bedazzle Queen" by her fellow designers as well as receiving compliments on her customized clothing and accessories, she decided to branch out, using all she had learn to finally start her own design company. M. Belishe, (pronounced embellish) is her launch brand that pretty much sums up exactly what designer Anokah lives for: embellishing!!!
